Progress on my midi

Been battling away with the tig for a few months now, it seems to take forever to get this far, still basic frame nearly finished. Rescued attachment Chassis_RHR_10_nov_2007_small.JPG

Mark,

Transverse leaf springs at the front?

Edit - just noticed the engine mounts, so transverse leafs at the back!!

Looking good though. When I get Deimos back on the road, I'll have to amble over!

Keep putting pics up in the meantime

It will be full IRS at both ends when I have done, next on the agenda is to get a handful of rose joints and knock up the wishbones.

Here's one with the engine in place.....

It will be pretty scary when finished. Rescued attachment Chassis_engine_Sept_2007_small.JPG

I want it to look something like this !

Have to sneak the tools in... Nothing expensive, purchased via Ebay but you just have to be prepared to travel.

Stangely enough the SWMBO does not notice the big stuff, just the smaller bits and bobs. Can,t really work that out but payback today was being presented with 1 litre can of white paint today and being pointed at the french windows.
