It rolls at last
But only just, clutch wont disengage and rear brakes impossible to bleed.
Still on target at 509kg wet (another 20kg to be added yet) and 34/66 f/r weight distribution. Cof g is only 290mm so I'm well pleased.
Ah well engine out this weekend again and a curse on ap multiplate clutches

DO NOT tell me that's a riot with a Rover V8 in there....
(is it an extended chassis or the normal riot one?)
if so. Brilliant!!!
the 1uz lexus is even lighter than the rover, hhhmmmm
and on a UN1 tranny also?

Yes its an early riot with Un1 box turned upside down and the gearchanhe through the middle of the V. Cant get the photo's to resize though my
PC admin is blocking it I'll have to try at home.
I did widen the track and beef up the rear suspension otherwise its fairly standard but the engine had to have major surgery to fit.

He v8kid,
what was concerned in the surgery.
your engine must be pretty low mount with the UN1 upside down, the sump level is the same as the un1's bottom when it's upright mounted.
yours is what, 8cm lower than that?
still brilliant project, I've played with the idea a long time ago.... and though I couldn;t be done. so errhm Well done!

So my cover is blown!!
Sump is close to deck and dry sump is planned. Big chunk was cut off bottom(top) of UN1 box and smaller dia flywheel fitted. More than 40mm at present
which is all that matters
Cheers from sunny Stewarton

Ha! Of course I remember the car still 2 months away from competing due to outside interferences - something about an offspring getting hitched and me
having to be there I believe.
Nice car what happened to it?

Inverted UN1 & reversing the gear shift
This will teach me not to check all the forums! I am planning to invert a UN1 and have been stretching the grey matter recently to figure out how to
deal with the reversed gear shift pattern. Have you done anything about it or just ignored it? More pix of the shift mechanism would be
appreciated.

That’s a mighty fine looking car.
Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is it? Got a link to the manufacturer?
