Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Chardonnay in one hand, Tequila in the other, body bearing battle scars and totally worn out, screaming- WOO HOO!! What a Ride!

No.
Not too bothered other than I can't start the new one until I have the space.
I now have 5k of parts stored away!!!!!!!!!
I may just find another garage to rent so I can still enjoy the car while building the other one.
But I am open to offers if they are sensible!

The very last job on the car is going to be done next week and that is installing a remote stat in the top hose of the K series instead of the return. I has getting a few temperature fluctuations. Sometimes the temp would climb or fall to very low levels for no reason.
Through making a mistake with the housing design, one half is being remade. At the same time I will have 2 made, so I will have a complete one for sale soon. Considering QED charge £125 + vat, I will be offering the spare one here soon.

It looks like a B&Q shelf stacker's convention

sorry, I had to get that one in before the blatchat crew get in again.

If I remember correctly my old Renault 5 used to have a stat in the top hose and the Renault engined Volvos used the same setup.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

If they can spot the part that came from B & Q, then I will give them the car for nothing!!!!!!!!

You sad bunch, Saturday night & nothing better to do!!!

Yes, Martin, how could I forget, due to our wonderful traffic system it took you about 2 hours to get here, by which time it was just about school run time when we went out for a quick squirt - hence the quick squirt became little more than a quick dribble! However watching peoples faces was even more amusing than usual!

£125 for a stat housing - is it solid gold? I can do you a complete Toyota 4age lump for less than that!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
