went through the audi and removed the whole loom. only bit im gonna use though is the ignition wiring (not much of it) but the rest i can chop up to use for my own loom otherwise the whole thing will consist of blue black or red wires cos thats all ive got! thats what happened when i first wired the megasquirt into the audi and fault finding was a nightmare so it will be nice to have a different colour wire for everything.

aslo not has new head gasket, new timing belt, new water pump and new throttle bodies!
next step is to put the alternator and starter back on and finish wiring the ignition and then megasquirt.

Hey! That's looking a lot like where I was 2 years ago! hahahahah.. ha... h... shit, I'm still at it.

But seriously, looking like a nice powerplant. What's the distance from the front pulley to the centerline of the half-shafts? Do you know the total weight of the powerplant, including transaxle?

hehe, i dont have a family or woman so ive got plenty of time on me hands so i should make good time on this. (providing the funds allow!) saying that it looks like what youve got so far was worth the wait.
the distance from pulley to shafts is 800mm. not got a clue what it weighs though, probably be good to find out so ill make that one of my priorities. it certainly isnt super light being a cast iron block, but one good thing is the sump is almost perfectly level with the transaxle so it can sit really low with no modifications.
