Most excellent Mr. B.!!!! You are very, very close....
One question. Are you selling day passes to your shop? The person holding the mdf circle in the last photo has a green tag on his wrist that reminds
me of the all-day pass for disney world!
Graber
Yes indeed Mr G....
It includes a free air boat ride and two games of bingo at the Sugar Shack.....
What a deal huh?...
Waylaying innocent travellers and pressing them into service...
Wars have been fought about this sort of thing!
From your website, I gather that the next step is taking care of minor blems? Really hard to tell there are any except in the close-ups. Beautiful,
smooth curves.
One helluva nice job, sir!
Pete
Thanks Pete,
Yeah pretty much just minor stuff...and most of what was show earlier on the site is now dealt with...
The main thing is dealing "outward" blemishes, by sanding......the minor "inward" blemishes (cuts, scratches, pinpricks etc.) all
become "outward" blemishes in the mold and are easy to deal with then..
Looks good Alan, definately an improvement over version 1.0 and worth all the extra effort.
Thanks Paul...I think so too...If folk got things perfect first time we'd all be driving model 'T's I guess..
It's been a long exercise, but as you say definitely worth it.
Is liquid sheet rock any good for a car body? I crack the stuff in my house all the time, and when I fix holes it always brakes shortly after. I find
that bondo works wonders, and I have bought it in big gallon size jugs in the past.
Free air boat rides!!! I might be in Florida this summer, I might just stop by and take you up on that on the way to disney world!
Alan,
I'm being hypercritical here and having difficulty finding fault, so please tell me to sod off if you wish!
It may be purely optical illusion or angle of picture, but it looks like the distance between rear edge and ramp up over engine bulge are different.
Looks like left ramp is nearer to rear than right one is. The flat area between ramp and rear lip.
Other than that it is loking great!

Terry I see what you mean. I can't say I noticed it in the flesh, so I'll have to look again to be sure.....
I spend a lot of time looking for things like that because although perfect symmetry is not possible, I at least want to address the really obvious
anomalies.
I do appreciate you spotting it because if isn't an optical illusion then now is the best time for me fix it.......cheers..
I don't like the colour.
And yes colour does have a U in it, bloody colonials.
Cheers
