fiberglass shells

As part of my long term planning for my next project I have been thinking about building a chassis and dropping the fibreglass body of a production car on to it.

Could people please help me out and list some cars that had fibreglass shells

I can think of the reliant cars + bond bug

What other cars could I look at

+ I have also seen mini shells in fibreglass

cheers

Paul

Elise S1 had front and rear clam shells with the sills and doors seperate.

The S2 is similar, but has a few more panels (front bumper)

Have a look on this site almost all the cars are space frames with fibreglass bodys, You can get panels for most models and there's a few different pics of the cars which shows what's out there.

The Gemini from Autotune was moulded from a falcon bodied elva IIRC. Pretty car.
