Newcastle Car Stripping Party
Ben_Copeland - 16/1/05 at 07:20 PM

Any people in and around newcastle (gateshead) wanna pop over in a few weeks and help me strip down a 4x4 sierra over the weekend. Beers and tea supplied, maybe even a few sandwiches

Be good to see whos in and around this area, as i'm here fairly often. ChrisR has already said he'd help.

So who else wants to have a bit of fun with a sierra? Any tools you wanna bring would be cool.

Cars sat in Bensham, Gateshead.

Ben,

Don't know anyone with an engine hoist, but DJ Tool Hire on the valley have one, not sure what the rate is but we use them all the time for work.

I've got two sets of plans so we could just build one.

Anyone in Town got one?

ned - 21/1/05 at 10:01 AM

with all you guys on the case, you shouldn't need an engine crane, either lift the engine out the car or the car over the engine!

Ned.

Guinness - 21/1/05 at 06:07 PM

I don't have a hosit, but hired mine from Lord in Gosforth. £10 plus the VAT if I pick it up first thing on Saturday morning and get it back by 12 noon.

Ben, any news on the date? Got to organise childcare.

Ben_Copeland - 21/1/05 at 06:10 PM

So probably be next weekend now, unless people can organise things for this weekend.
