Hi Folks,
Have been having a few issues with radiator coolant being dumped out of the overflow cap when hot. The engine temp gauge shows just over 80 when out
for a run and does not move until the engine is switched off. The coolant pipes are warm, not hot.
Took the car out for a quick spin and later looking around the engine, I noticed that there was a hissing noise coming from the cap. So i need a new
cap.....
Trouble is someone gave me the coolant bottle when building over 6 years ago and I need to identify it so that I can get a new cap.
Does anyone recognise the bottle and which manufacture/model of car it came from.
The bottle has 3 inlet pipes, the main pipe is vertical under the bottom. It also has the letters RCF 10041 marked on the side.

Looks a bit like the one I got out of a mid 2000's Corsa
Cap off a Rover 25 or 45 or 820 will fit so will some Fiat ones.
Thanks KitCatE1, This is the one. The pipes on mine are in plastic and moulded into the bottle, where in your pic they are either steel/ali...
At least I can go and order a new cap now
Thanks

Looks like a Vauxhall corsa expansion tank .
