Radiator for 2.9i
Chippy - 12/11/04 at 11:20 PM

Anybody have some information on which radiator is the best for plumbing up to the Ford 2.9i V6. I do have a little more frontal area, than the standard, as my chassis is plus 4. I have checked out some rads at the scrappies, but can't find one with the connections on the correct sides. Bottom is nearside, top is offside. Any assistance, most apreciated.

Have a look at the rad. off a Reliant Scimitar- small enough to fit in chassis of most cars and if ducted right it keeps the V6 3000 Ford engine cool- plus they have an expansion tank and even Kenlowe fan if you're lucky.

i have a 2.4 cologne v6 basically same engine.

I used the rad of a volvo summatorother - I didnt look at the badge. It may have been a 240 (or whatever it was that was made about 15 years ago)

has the outlets where you want them. Rescued attachment rad.jpg
