What calipers are these?
Steve Hnz - 4/8/04 at 03:43 AM

Anyone have any idea what calipers these are. They`re on a local auction site & have ford cast into them & fit an escort front end with a bit of slotting of holes.Seller says maybe Cosworth or XR4x4. Pic is best I can do from a horribly overexposed image. Cheers, Steve. Rescued attachment Ford 4potcalipers.jpg.jpg

They aint XR4x4, assuming it has the same brakes as well as everything else that the ghia 4x4 had.

Adam, I take it you mean Sierra Cosworth, ( would Escort Cosworth be the same?), academic now anyway, they went in a bidding frenzy in the last few minutes of the auction for $NZ305, about 110 UK pounds.24 hours ago they had $50 on them. I already have some princess calipers for my build but if the price was right would`ve been interested to squirrel these away against a future project, it wasn`t! Cosworths of any persuasion are like rocking horse poo out here, hence the price I `spose. Thanks for the responses, cheers, Steve.

I meant Saphire Cosworth but they may be the same on Sierras aswell.
