I think there were several different styles but they all have 2 outlets at the front and 1 in the middle.
That looks the same as my sierra one.

it looks like a early sierra and escort one
It's the same as my Sierra one. I got mine new off ebay but it was a couple of years ago.

Sierra. Definitely as I've the same in my garage. There were around 3 different types made for Sierra's. If you do a search you'll find the different types as I'm sure I saw it on this site. Possibly a British Trident post as he's well up on MC's
ok great at leat i can be sure where it came from now.
so the next problem is were do i get a new one from in a short space of time????
thanks again

Is yours knackered or was it just the wheel cylinders knackered?
Anyhow have you tried Ebay or Bigg Red sells repair kits.
If not try brakes international here
wheel cylinders were nackered, replaced them and still keep getting ail threw after litres of brake fluid.... no visible leaks apart from a small
amount of seepage of seepage on the MC were the plunger push rod goes in.

If it's any help in identifying the right one at the factors, mine came off a 1990 1.8CVH engined Sierra Sapphire. Brake setup was drum rear
end, non ABS.

There are at least 6 different types of Sierra brake master cylinders. 3 Girling and 3 Bendix.
The type you have is identical to ours and going on previous experience you're going to really struggle to get a repair kit for it. It's
also the most expensive of the Sierra master cylinders to buy new. Best price I could find was from Brakes
International We weren't in a rush and managed to get hold of a second hand one from here.

I think you will find it difficult to get and exact replacement as well. Might be worth searching on here for a cheap replacement from a different car
(more recent model).. I could only find a new old stock sierra master cylinder on ebay (bendix one). You could get one with a smaller piston (some say
the brakes are better for this), I think the "22" on the casting means a 22mm master cylinder.

Hi,
Did you ever find a good source for this cylinder? Mine has also gone and is identical to this one. Dont really want to pay over £100 for a sierra
brake cylinder.
