Stubby BEC can?

I have a full length(standard bike length) carbon race can to go on my car, but its too long, the rear wheels are in the way!

As it is I am going to have to shorten the manifold somewhat....

Are there any relatively cheap mufflers that are incredibly short that would be able to keep a ZX9R below 110db?

Something half the length would be ideal!...There is loads of space in any other direction....

As above (sort of)

Just make your own carbon can shorter, it is a very simple thing to do...

to an extent, a larger diameter straight through can makes up for less length.

Bike cans tend not to be of the straight through type. It means their internal geometry is key to making them work.

As above if it's got riveted ends. We stuck one on the chop saw and put the end back on and it wasn't that much louder.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
