what engine for boost

if you was to buy a bike engine to turbo for a long term project what engine would you buy tp start off with.

There's a book out there (can't remember the name of it) specifically about slapping blowers and turbos on bike engines....

Gives links to all the standard installations as well as DIY advice....

But yes, the Busa turbo install is a quite well trodden path....

Natuarally depends on budget.
I would say Blade engine because if / when it goes pop the engines are easy to come buy and cheaper to replace but I only earn £5k a year

hi joe hope all is good with you i still have my imp at mb and now am missing it lots it cost me £160 to take it there and same to bring it back

If you're gonna stick a turbo on it, I too would go for a Busa.

What has been done internally to it to produce this sort of power?
What boost power will it run normally?

OK here we go again parts are je pistons low comp ape billet cam pulleys schnitz racing valve springs Carrillo h beam drag spec con rods billet clutch basket billet cam chain tensioner kit balancer shaft removed 630cc injectors billet fuel rail dta engine ecu garret gt35r twin scroll turbo twin tial 38mm waste gates tial 50mm bov charge cooler aq mist water spray ape studs for the block and nuts cometic head gasket billet 360 swing sump aircraft spec con rod bolts MB customs manifold bosch 044 grp a fuel pump aromotive .8 fuel reg that's just of top of my head
