'blade oil cooler...

Can anyone help us with our latest problem... a broken feed pipe to the engine cast Oil Cooler (we think!).

Does anyone have one or can anyone beat the £40 (new) price we've been quoted. I've been to a few wreckers who have said that they no longer sell them for less than £1000 as they come complete with 'blade engine Now who'd price fixing? Look's like we may have to bite the bullet and pay £40!!!

OR - do I ask my 'close personal friend' to weld us it up??? Rescued attachment Pb090983.jpg

If this is a different bit to what we talked about earlier, I'll probably have one of those too

Can't you tap a thread in it and screw a union in? Got to be worth a try.

yours, Pete.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Pete, you must be psychic.

We did try tapping a thread into it, but unfortunately the casting is particularly thin where it snapped.

Worth a look, might help to build up round the hole or reattach the piece if you still have it.

yours, Pete.
