Wanted BGH Type 9 Gearbox
As title. Before I bite the bullet and buy a gear kit from BGH I just wondered if anyone has a 2 litre modified type 9 with mechanical speedo drive
and short spigot.

Hi yep sorry. It was sold in a verry short space of time. However if it is of any help there is a group buy of BGH G/boxes currently being done on
the WSCC forum. WSCC LINK

Might be worth seeing if we can get a group buy deal? They are back at work on Wednesday I was going to order a gear kit for myself but could check up
on group deal

I'd be interested in a reasonably priced recon gearbox too.

I'd dearly love one of their E6 '2.8 long 1st' gearkits (I'm using a 2.8 box) to get that elusive tall 1st gear, but
£665..........no way can I justify spending that sort of cash on it. It would have to be a big discount, like about 50%, to get me
interested. But there again, I am a tightwad...

Have you checked out the price of their gear kits? If we can get a discount it may be more attractive?

That in fact is the gearkit price for the 2.8 long 1st option, which I'd need for my gearbox.
As you say though, the price for the 'standard' box gearkit looks good value. With some discount, then add any bearings, seals and gaskets
you may need, you could put a long 1st box together for around £300 maybe, a bit more of a 'locost' option.
