R1 Header Tank Height

Hi Guys
Does the height of the header tank in the photo look right, can't get it much higher without mounting it on the bulk head or cutting a hole for the cap in the bonnet ( bit dangerous if it decided to vent its self while some-one was in the vicinity) Trackday use only
many thanks

As long a the water level in the tank is higher than the highest point in the cooling circuit....... it's cool.
Making sure you don't have any air locks of course.
It helps if the tank feeds water into the highest point in the cooling circuit. In your case the top of what I assume is a thermostst housing.
