Not R1 clocks but Fireblade, i fixed mine from the back of the Mac #1 carbon dash. Rescued attachment 2DSCF0053.jpg

mounting 05/06 R1 clocks

Use rubber grommets in the dash then allen headed bolt with large washer-M4 or M5.No vibration to the clocks and secure.Winston
