Sausage filter
Am i looking for the impossible here or am i just not using the right words to search on ebay?
I am after a sausage filter ITG, TTS, K&N, whoever for my Carbed R1.
I dont want to pay the £50 - £90 that i have seen the above named ones going for, is there a cheaper un named version that people have used
successfully? or am i not going to get a foam sausage filter for less than the £50 mark?
I dont really need the back plate because i will make my own, obviously if it comes with a blank one and is the right price then all the better.
lastly does anyone have a locost one for sale???
Cheers

Why use a foam filter?
Make your own airbox up and add a remote filter.
I had my set up on the rolling road at TTS and Rich told me that I didn't even need to Dynojet the carbs, just increase the main jets.
Airbox was made from Ali sheet and sealed, then just added a Car Builders Solution Air filter. Total cost around £65 (including Silicon hose).
