I typed a long wording for this, and as soon as i uploaded it ,to the forum, it disapears, anyway, this is my gear linkage, it took a bit of fathaming
out, but i did it, i'm well chuffed with it, just need the right length of m8 bar.

Very nice bet you thought that would be a simple thing to do eh Have you showed it to SWMBO like i have done with my engineering skills only to
get a blank stare

thing to watch is it jamming up on the pivot bolt - i burnt i clutch out when i got stuck in 3rd! Long bolt with 2 lock nuts instead of a nylock,
washer and grease.

Yep, the longer the pivot hole, the better so keep an eye on it.
I ended up doing mine like this with a 2" bar as the pivot as my first rough attempt moved around (in the wrong directions) too much.

the nut/nylock for pivot is not best I'm afraid - you cna buy small roller race bearing from RS components that would make if far smoother and
more robust.

youve reminded me brad ill put some pics up Ive finished it apart from the body
and Ive lent my exhaust to someone so thats is it really
make sure its mounted by either weld
or if your bolting it down a grip toothed washer and a big 12mm + bolt with nyloc and everything
believe me mate you wont believe how easy the whole thing works loose
