Sexy locost(ish) body...

Dalhelm Spidermania... it's supposed to go on a Beetle floorpan, but I bet there's sexier chassis that can be made to fit..

I've first found the site a few years ago, and it seems like it hasn't been updated since, so I have no idea if the kit is still in production, or if the prices are still accurate... either way, as it's advertised on their WEBSITE the kit sells for $3295

That's got some potential, although I think the Concorde-esque 'droop snoot' needs a bit more work.

as it is I like it, with the IRS rear end it wouldn't handle at all bad. The front looks good as does the back, one of the better designs. Folk aways moan about the noise of a bug engine but don't understand that most of that is the exhaust, fit a proper system and it sounds just like two Harley's

Beetle engines sound just great! But in stock form they're a bit low on power. Sure, there's tons of upgrade potential, but I think this body would be better suited to a different engine altogether.. Honda VTEC, probably..

Couldn't agree more!
The flat four sound has made a comeback of late with all the Scoobies around.

This car needs a high revving engine to match the looks.
Quite a nice looking car that I'd not seen before.
It does remind me of the Albarr Sonic, I think it was called, back in the eighties.

Could deffinietely make something pretty cool with that shell, not a locost tho, well not a 'normal' front engined ione anyway, the engine would be sticking out of the nose moulding somewhere!

Enough room for a short engine behind the seats though, but yeah I agree, leave the beetle chassis somewhere to rest in peace
