Rich, you need that on display, not hidden in the back.

FI pump is from a kawasaki zx6r 2005/6. same as zx10r pressure wise, return is built into pump so only needs a single line to front and an absolute Ebay bargain at 20 quid. also has a low fuel warning circuit built in aswell

I have just bought one of these hopefully to use with an 05 R1.
When you mentioned the built in return pipe, how does it work....pressure valve?
It has got me worried that it might not work as it is ideal for my set up.
The low level warning is what I am also after as I don't want to run with a tank sender.

Just about to start my new buid this week. I have always used external pumps in the past but considering something like this for this car, would save me having to find somewhere for pump and having a foam filled tank built anyway. Any pros and cons to this set up? Would a bike pump be ok for a CEC (toyota 1.6 20v)?
Thanks,
Ben.

i think that as most manufacturers are now using in tank pumps (cars and bikes) it makes sense to do the same.i would guess that if this pump can supply enough fuel for a 180 bhp bike engine then it should be plenty good enough for a cec with similar power
I know quite a few bec owners with similar setups which see track use with no surge or starvation issues.
you would just need to check pump pressures to make sure they are compatable with the car FI system
