2003 R1: What for are these conectors?
And finally...
What are these 2 connectors for? They have a metal mesh / grille / filter inside...

I've been wondering about this myself. I guess they vent the FI in some way.

IIRC these vent the back side of the rubber diaphragm on the vacumn slides.
Just leave them as is.

Yep, they are just breathers of some kind, Ive joined them together and vented them off down the side of the engine

If they did that, then the vaccum wouldnt open the carb...
They vent the carbs into the airbox breather...
No Airbox, just vent them to the atmosphere... after all green doesnt bother us does it...
