Mini Front Subframe

I am in the process of stripping the mini for a bike engine installation and having a poo of a time removing the front subframe. I have disconnected all pipework etc. I have removed the two bolts from the suspension towers and four from the passesnger and drivers footwell but there must be more does anyone know where?

There are another two, accessed from the two holes in the front valance as you look at the car from the front.

That sounds about right, 2 big ones, 4 inside and 2 on front.
If it's still there it could be stuck if it's never been removed before. Rescued attachment !CID__aGgW6wM5Uy_.jpg

They usually break and fail MOT after a couple of years anyway, I used to fill the middle with washers and make them solid. They were 1/2"AF bolts, one in the subframe and one through the valance. If you run a flip front brace the subframe to the inner wing. Rescued attachment !CID__aGgW6wM5Uy_.jpg

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

If pulling it as one whole unit that's not all necessary. The rod ends need taking off the hubs, but that's it. Have you checked the brake pipes? They should bolt through the subframe just in front of each tower. If you have a good look and everything you can see is off, kick it really hard. Or get a BIG screwdriver or similar and try levering the tower tops out from the shell. They can be quite sticky as said before.
