Bec Clutch/Throttle
Decided to push my car out of the garage for the first time and attempt to drive it up my steep driveway trying to control the clutch and throttle
Is it me or is the clutch ment to feel like a switch either in or out and the throttle extremely sensitive
Found it very difficult to control the revs and clutch or does it get better with practice
Also the clutch bite point seems to be very high up.
The zx9r has updated clutch springs.

The clutch on my ZX9 was like a switch and I kept stalling it until I changed the clutch cable for a better one with nylon (or PTFE, I can't
recall) liner. The difference was loads.

I moved the cable clutch lever attachment point as near to the pedal pivot as I could.
I split the accelerator cable in two and made a 2:1 pivot. Both these gave about 4" of pedal movement, the car was much better to drive,
especially in traffic.

The cable pull and pivot on mine car are very close, I would say 10:1 ratio at a guess if not more

As above,I altered the throttle cable set up like 40inches which made a massive difference!
With my clutch I've welded on some extra length on the arm that that cable attaches to on the engine, added about 50% and thar made a massive
difference
If you think about the standard set up a motorcyclist is using his hands to operate both on small levers,so the travel is tiny

You did that too?
Did copy your idea on the accelerator cable, but had done that to clutch arm when doing engine swap!

Didn't think of it, too obvious.
