How have you routed your gear shift cable?
whats the usual method of installing a push-pull for the gear change? weld a couple of mounts either end then just clamp the cable in place?
do you sweep it in to the selector rod from the top or the side?
some pictures wold be ideal as i really can visualize how im going to fit it
Stick shift, not paddles
cheers guys

Basically run it the smoothest way possible, with a nice smooth bend rather than a tight one.
Mine runs off a bracket on the drivers side chassis in tunnel, over to pass side under the bonnet then across to the gear selector.
I got brackets included with the kit I bought off MK to weld on.

Ok yeah I get you. So yours sweeps in from the side. I think the ones I've seen coming in from above were maybe paddle shift cables.
I've no brackets so I'll need to make some. Did you weld you brackets on?
You got any pictures by any chance?

brilliant, so it looks like it sweeps out from the tunnel to the passenger side, then sweeps back towards the selector via a mount welded onto the
cradle?
Does your cable connect directly to the gear selector lever?

Yeah that's how mine runs, bare in mind mines a R1 engine though so you might need to enter from the opposite side etc depending on how the ZX12
gear selector works.
The MK kit came with a selector arm to bolt onto the selector shaft on the bike box, then cable attaches straight to that.
It's longer than the original bike selector arm.
