BEC quickshift
These look great value on ebay, nothing to do with me, but I had a quickshift on my last MK Indy BEC, it made a big difference for rapid up changes,
if I recall mine cost around £400, so these look a good locost option, and if you check out his other items you could get it a few quid

I do like the look and sound of these!
But do they add extra stress to the clutch and transmission?

I read a report written by a guy from Hewland gearboxes last year that suggested these placed far less stress on a gearbox than manual
transmission.
Can't remember where it was now, I don't think it was on here.

Upshift only I'd say as no blipper mentioned in there for downshifting..

If you use a Power Commander 111USB all you need is a Microswitch ( about £2.50 ) and download the software from the Power Commander site.

Really, please tell me more I have a power commander III usb fitted and running.. which Microswitch, which software and how to get it working would be

I used a micro s/w similar to this http://www.maplin.co.uk/low-cost-standard-microswitches-6453

And the software is a bit hard to find but it is on the Power Commander site (shift kill utility).

Also interested to find this out as have been looking at buying the Quickshifter to go with my PCIII.

I dont believe the kill s/w utility software is on the downloads page it was hidden away somewhere, and seems to have been moved, there is several
links in previous posts on this site but all seem to be dead.
