R1 4XV-5PW advice needed

Bought a 5PW off one of the Lads on here, don't have any issues with what I bought, at the price I paid I could make my money back breaking it, came with all sorts of spares, pistons, conrods, etc
the motor a 5PW had originally had a ball bearing down number 3 bore and damaged the piston and head

whipped all the pistons out to check them over and mike them up and check ring gaps, found the best fitting one in the 4 spares, then using all the rings made up 4 sets that were closest to recommended tolerances.
The engine came with a complete 4XV head which at first we thought was compatable with the 5PW but on closer (well not so close) it became obvious the 5PW has 4 drillings by the exhaust ports to take some form of sensor in each port which connect to a unit at the front of the engine, the 4XV doesn't, as the motor didn't have any injectors/throttle bodies I intend to use the 4XV head and run it carbed.
one interesting little accident had happened to the spare oil/water pump

A question regarding the sump on the 5PW or rather the pressure relief valve, would much sooner use the 4XV sump as it is lower profile, but the relief valve sits on a stand-off on the 5PW but on the 4XV it would sit on the sump itself, would it be advisable to use the 4XV

finally as I intend to in effect use the engine as a 4XV do I use the 4XV trigger on the end of the crank or the 5PW

The wiring harness is marked 5JJ so I'm assuming this can't be used.
Just want to build the engine up as a spare for the 4XV powered trackday indy so if needed just unplug wiring whip carbs off change lump and refit carbs and plug wiring back in.
it appears doable but is it ?

TIA
tony
