MK fitted a few cars with Holshot turbo busa engined turbo's last year, they all went over to Spain, I remember Danny having to go over to show
them how to drive them, so it might be worth having a word with him.

Do it yourself Jon, its not magic !
keep boost low, 6 - 8 PSI and leave the engine alone then run on optimax.
weld up a suitable exhaust.
source a turbo, air cooled is easier just needs oil (tee from pressure switch, return to sump)
weld up a plenum or get flak monkey to sort something out.
intercooler and ducting
then get it mapped
Job done
This looks like a good starter http://www.turbobusa.org/
Common turbo so will come up on Ebay, look for complete engines with it attached.

Yes, we've all seen it before: it starts out wanting "only" 250-300 HP, and ends up with a remortgaged house.

I'm with Mark. DIY it.
I'd get headers from these guys http://forum.oldskoolsuzuki.info/cgi-bin/Yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1328448387
Silva GTiR plenum
The ECU is the only other tricky bit (not sure what people do for Busas).

For that bhp just a power commander for fueling should be ok withs. Decent fuel pump and pressure regulator, I think with 250 you should be able to
get away with STD engine, possibly just lower the compression ratio with a comedic head gasket etc, rods etc should be ok,
Nice power and you will love it until it goes bang, and they do eventually, but great fun while they last

One of the Spanish owners had his MK turbo-Busa up for sale last autumn. He was asking 35,000 euros. He advertised saying the "project"
had cost him 60,000 euros. He didn't buy direct from MK, but went through the MK agent here.
Which explains why I went direct to the boys at Maltby and bought my car (normally aspirated) direct from MK.

Jon,
You could do a lot worse than speaking to Sean at Big CC. This is his bread and butter stuff. Many can offer that sort of power, not many can match it
with reliability and driveability, from what i've heard Big CC are one of the few.

Jack Called to the racing one day on his 700hp bike, what an animal.. and a nice guy to work with
There are only 4 people to anyone's knowledge in the world who have built & tuned motorcycles to over 700hp.
Chris Cutsinger from USA built a hayabusa Funny Bike that made 750hp on alcohol.
Christer from NLR Sweden Hayabusa made 712hp again on alcohol
Dennis Clanton aka Motorhead from the USA made 701hp on race petrol.
Sean from Big CC Racing UK made 721hp on race petrol.
Alcohol is known to give a 15% power increase when tuned correctly.
Jack is a good tuner of Turbo engines & very experienced. His 250+ mph runs at Elvington are a testament to that. However if he & others had
made 700hp on the dyno they would be showing a genuine graph for it. To simply imply anyone has a 700hp motorcycle belittles the efforts of those who
have actually achieved it with their hard work.
Please don't think I'm having a go, it's not the case. Jacks one of the good guys but if you wish to see 600+ & 700+ dyno runs
they are on Big CC's website clear as day.

Mark Fisher - GHR Racing in Corby, full stop, very clever and top notch work everytime.
Why turbo when you could Supercharge?

SUPERCHARGING IS OK FOR THE POWER OUTPUTS 230 - 350 BHP BUT STRUGGLE WITH ANY MORE POWER DUE TO THE PHYSICAL SIZE OF THE BIKE ENGINE AND THE SIZE OF
PULLEYS NEEDED FOR HIGHER POWER OUTPUTS. A WELL SET UP TURBO WILL BEAT IT EVERY TIME. I HAVE TRIED BOTH.

Supercharges used are just gearbox driven turbo impellers & while throttle response is more instant performance by comparison to a turbo is
poor.
It's amazing how many supercharger owners do not know what boost pressure they are running for the power they make.
Mark like Jack is a good knowledgable guy & for those that want supercharging he does a good job

I have found the 250-300 hp range is a bit of an odd one with a turbo busa in a light car. Below 250, it's fairly easy to control power
delivery, above 300 it's getting really quite hard compared to NA. Lag is not really a concern, just keep the revs up, its the throttle being
non-linear in the 20%-40% range making sweeping corners/slow corner exit interesting.
There are of course ways to improve this but you won't find that much experience out there on what to do. For my money I would suggest for road
use aim low, 225bhp is a nice number, you will never go fast enough for any extra to have an impact.
