Fireblade Exhaust Help please
Please can anyone with a fireblade engine tell me either the exhaust port diameter or the diameter of the manifold pipe which goes into the exhaust
port?
Thanks in advance
Mark

It goes back a couple of years but I am fairly certain I made my primaries from 1.5" Stainless, this is slightly larger than the standard, maybe
1/4".
I then chopped the ends off a standard system and lathed out the inside slightly so snug fit and delicately welded the outside rings may also have
needed opening slightly.
It cost £125 for 8 x 90degree 1.5" bends, 1m of 1.5" tube and 1m of 2" tube.
I made the collectors by spliting the 1.5" and letting in V sections chopped out of the two 2" tube.

Did mine with 36mm 0r 38mm OD for the (forgot!)primaries, and 42mm for the secondary....then 2"for the final pipe. I tack welded and mointed on a
block of wood simulating the head arrangement...then took them to a tig welder and pressure tested for leaks
Matched 1 & 4 and 2 & 3

Hi Mark
I've just taken the engine out of my Blade Trackbike to rebuild the gearbox.
You're welcome to come round and measure if it would help.
