35mm 90 degree exhaust bends (SS)
Hey guys,
Hello,
I am currently fabricating a custom manifold for my Yamaha R1 engined FWD mini. The manifold is being made from stainless steel and is 35mm OD tube.
I need to source some 35mm (1 3/8" stainless 90 degree bends to shape the manifold, can anyone on here possibly help me with this?
Cheers
Ben

That is a very odd size. Could you not use a more commonly available size, like 1 1/2"?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Just buy another second hand R1 set of front pipes (early stainless ones - not the later Titanium!).
You should be able to construct a decent set of pipes from both sets.....

I want to retain the stock R1 downpipe diameter which is 35mm and I have fabricated most of the manifold with some bends I bought from ebay, but ran
out when fabbing the last downpipe.
welderman: those bends would be ideal thanks, so far I have used 316L stainless for your info. Would you be able to get hold of 3 bends for me
please?
Cheers
Ben
