Ison blade repair

Started repairing the Ison blade, welded the sump. Starts and sounds well. Back axel, the problems start

Half shaft bent can anyone tell me what axel was used.

one wheel was damaged but I now know that they are ford focus wheels.

Thanks Marcus

So the Isonblade may be born again eh?
Glad to hear it!

Just out of interest- how much did u pay for it?

I believe the back axle was Cortina. Obviously Jon Ison is the person you want to conact- he built it!

HTH,

James

out of curiousity (hope you don't think we're/i'm being rude!) but do you have any pics of the damage that was sustained to the car from the accident? it might help in advising on the repairs too!

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin

1.6 cortina back axle, 3.89 diff, the engine was/is one of the best blade engines you will ever find as long as the holed sump aint done any damage........

thanks

That was quick.

So it look like a hunt around the scrap yards for a cortina.

I'll see what I can do about some pictures ASAP, if I can work out to how to do it.

Send me a U2U with your full address and I'll send you useful docs, including the Autotech digidash manual with the correct parameters.

Cheers,
