I just cut the brass holder and valve out of an old inner tube and used that, its free + is a good fit inside 8mm fuel hose. Rescued attachment Inertube.jpeg

£8 seems a bit pricey to me you can gat a motorcycle one, (Ebay), for about £3 and they work fine, plus small and neat. HTH Ray

To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

No these are no good for fuel injection systems.
You need a roll over valve that breathes both ways, in and out except when inverted. They usually have a float ball inside.( I got mine from thinkauto.)
These valves only let air in.
Apart from expansion of the fuel, you get a situation where as fuel is drawn from the tank, air is drawn in to replace the fuel removed, but injection should have a return from the pressure valve on the fuel rail, which then returns to the tank.
Now the air needs to be expelled to allow room for the returned fuel.
The result is a pressurized fuel tank or worse.

Hmmm i wish i'd have read that before i ordered it!

just received it today and your right it won't let any pressure out. it is only oneway,
anyone wanna buy a 1 way valve!??

Best to give thinkauto a call as it looks like mine, but I ordered by phone and description.

My one is in the middle of the firewall and is purple. (it came in that colour) and looks like the one you suggested.
