Oh bugger
As work is only three miles from home, I think it would be quite novel to have an electric car to get to work. Maybe a modded golf cart (might need a
bike engine) or finish my GT500 but electify it!

its already been mentioned
Also on my projects list is a standard looking RV8 4WD Mk1 fiesta

I'd put a V8 in a micra then drive it off a cliff or a car crusher, best places for Micras
Seriously though, I'd put a jet engine in a trabant

I've seen a Caddy 500cid V8 mounted in the rear of an old Beetle

Was it rear-mounted or mid-mounted? There were quite a few Beetles getting around in the 70s with all manner of engines mated onto the poor old
standard transaxle' everything from Frod Pinto engines to SBCs. They usually went OK until they encountered the first bend in the road.
Cheers, Rorty.

Not quite as slow looking as an MPV, but i've seen an audi 80 set up for drag racing on the inside, but with normal looks on the outside, road
legal as well.
Can't remember its quarter time, but it was holding is own agains all the custom chassis in the same road legal class.

Meet Project Cinquecento!!!
Complete front subframe from 3 litre Alfa 164 boshed in the back of a lovely little Cinq. Fits so well they must have had it in mind all
along. No good photos yet I'm afraid...

Ok serious engine HP stakes it has got to be the Napier Sabre as fitted to Hawker Tyhpoon's. About the same size as a merlin but........24
cylinder H block, sleeve valve mga monster. I believe they were rated at about 3000hp!.
They have got one on display at duxford, but I would love to get hold of a functioning one.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.
