I've used Blue Host for a few years with no problems. Their plan gives you up to 6 domains, 300GB of space and 3000GB/month transfer for $6.95 month if you pay for 24 months.

The only time I've had to contact tech support was when I wanted to host an italian domain, and that was quick and painless.

Martin.

Might be a bit late but Register1.net is a great host.
