Hi all
its mot time for my daily runner and one of the metal clips on the rubber boot on the drive shaft has broken. i did a temporary fix with a couple of cable ties, but it leaking again, and could do with a proper metal clip/strap.
does anyone know where i can get one from.
also i take it will fail an mot on a leaking rubber boot on the drive shaft
cheers
Ian

At work we have a long roll of the metal strap and clips seperate, you cut to length and then clip up. Other then that a cable tie is ok, but i used to hold the tie with pliers and then use screw driver to tighten it - or buy the cable tie ratchet pliers.

Most decent motorfactors sell the metal cable ties for this purpose.
