I failed SVA today and one of the fail points was not being able to provide prove that the rubber hose I had used to connect the Brake reservoir to
the master cylinders was up the the job of carrying brake fluid.
So I need to source a metre of 5/16 bore rubber hose with documentation from the manufacturer that says it can carry brake fluid. it won't be
taking too much pressure it really needs to be the correct rubber to take brake fluid is the main thing.
Any ideas on a source?
land rover spare parts - i belive some of them (defenders) use a remote resevior. That will be full of 'e' numbers that he can look up. Otherwise i'd guess try a hydralics company.
might be able to sort you some out , ill let you know - i have sources !!
im just wondering aeroquip hose would do it .
the hose i get is Din marked .

I got my brake fluid hose from here. They sold me 0.25m rather than buying a whole one. I didn't get a certificate and the hose isn't
marked but it is sold as brake fluid hose.
I got mine from here.

Have a look at their fuel hose FH013.
They have a downloadable spec sheet which shows that this is suitable fore low pressure brake fluid applications.

Thanks guys.
I have ordered some from fuelsystems as it appears this will be acceptable with the datasheet and the markings on the hose that tie up.
