Got my sump back today, only cost £10 for the welding, what do you think, also is there anything to check for under the engine while the sump is
off.
Brad.

looking good Brad but why put the sump plug under the sump? only to get knock off
Graham
looks nice. Have you modded your pickup yet?
I usually hate it when someone says something like this, but I have to add to Jacko's sentiments... (sorry mate)

The ally is thicker on the bottom for the thread, also if i knock the bolt off from hitting something, the engine will be the least of my worries, as
the bolt is the only thing that protudes under the chassis.
Does anyone know where i can get a sump gasket from, all the searches i have done bring up full kits at £160 plus.
And no Matt i have'nt altered the pick up yet, it's just a case of cut and stick back together.

On the sump plug concerns.
As it looks like an M12 bolt, you could swap it for a button head, which might help a little if there were to be a collision with the ground (more
likely to skim).
Just a thought,
Matt
I think I got mine from Five Ways, seem to remember about £12 but it was a while ago.
Andy
I got a gasket from my local Kawasaki dealer, £10-15 if I remember.
Cheers
