Whilst adjusting my R1 clutch the other night i seem to have over depressed the clutch and its permanently engaged.
Does anybody know whether its possible to dis-engage it without draining the oil and taking off the clutch cover.
You won't have to drain the oil, but you will have to take the clutch cover off to pop the spring back.

i thought having never takenit off before the the oil level came right up into the clutch

I have modified my clutch arm to give a longer stroke and stop this.
I have a matched wilwood master and pull type slave.
After the freeplay is removed from the clutch, my slave will operate the clutch, but not past it's stop.

Nope... I took my cover off today without draining the oil. Mine is a 2000 R1.
