Does anyone have any pics of how they've mounted these clocks?

Not R1 clocks but Fireblade, i fixed mine from the back of the Mac #1 carbon dash.

Use rubber grommets in the dash then allen headed bolt with large washer-M4 or M5.No vibration to the clocks and secure.Winston
