Hello,

I have a very klunky drive train in my Indy-ZX12, so I want a TRT propshaft. I can not find a company in Holland who makes TRT props.
I have a TRT propshaft from a 4x4 cossie but it weighs a lot more than a standard propshaft.
Does anybody have a picture from a custom made TRT prop, so I have an idea houw they look like.

Hi Arjan,
Ours was made by Dunning & Fairbank based in Leeds, Yorkshire.
It 'looks' basically the same as a standard propshaft with no 'extra bits'. All the technical stuff is internally mounted.
They make the prop's for TVR... well, they did!

As hellfire said, the TRT bit, as shown on Cavin's top pic is the thicker end on the left. Otherwise the prop is the same as a 'normal' prop.

Thats interesting since mine looks loads different!

Its noticeably made from larger diameter toob at the rear and the rubber "filler" material is visible between the inner toob.

Obviously mine is made properly on Tyneside....

It's because Cavlin's trt bit is in front of the centre bearing. That's why his and yours are different.

....and of course the bottom of the sea bed!
