hi everyone ,i just fitted a new rectifer/regulater to my mk indy ,its the upgraded one with fins ect .all works fine now although it still gets quite
hot ive made a ally bracket for it to sit on .has any one put a fan on theirs as well to help it stay cool ?
many thanks
Yep, my standard one wasnt mounted on anything metallic but I had an old Athlon PC heatsink and fan on for 3 years and it never fried itself.
yep...I've got a double pc fan on mine too..
if you have acces to a Tig welder
proberly the best thing you can do is
with some points welding to an athlon/intel heat sink with fan
Tks

Something like this should be fine Id think
The "Akasa AK-675 " £6 + delivery from Overclockers.co.uk
(5th one down)
As ReMan says, all PC fans are 12v, the PC power supply converts the 240v AC into 12v DC (and other voltages) for the PC components to run on.
