hey , i'm thinking of building a ADR1000 but not with a regular bmw engine but with a Honda CBR 1000 engine.
has anyone experience with that engine ?
for instance does it need a dry sump system ? of would it be better than an normal sump system ?
i'm also intrested in witch kind of diff ratio would be best , and witch diff's are LSD ?

It is a detuned version of the early R1 engine, therefore can be tuned very easily with readily available parts.
If you are using Sierra diff (I am not familiar with the ADR1000) then diff ratio, a 3.14/3.38, and LSDs come in XR4x4 diffs, but only in 3.64 ration.
You could get a 3.14/3.38 crownwheel and pinion and out it in the case of of the LSD with the LSD.

thanks , the adr1000 something like the xtr and the radical. but normal with a lighter engine.
how heavy is a ford lsd ? because i intend to keep the weight to a minimeum

ADR do their own reinforced axle and 2.7:1 crownwheel and pinion. I think that limits you a bit. They are live axle aren't they?
