Hey guys, couple of question for you..
We've now nearly finshed the build on the Mk Busa, so are looking at engine setup. It's a standard 2011 engine running the orginal ecu and
loom (albelit slightly lengthend)
So:
Who would you recommend as a rolling road tuner? DayTuning has been mentioned as a reputable place, but it's a little far to go. Anywhere nearer
the south?
And:
If we didn't have the engine mapped prior to its first trackday outing would it cause any major problems?
Its all original mechanical spec apart from the dry sump and flatshifter. The biggest change from factory would be the airbox and exhaust.
Any advice is appreciated!

if you don't get it mapped and put it out on track it will go bang! they are very sensitive to intake and exhaust modifications.

dyno sessions are very very very cheap compared to busa engine rebuild/replacements ;-)

PDQ found a lean spot at 7k(!) on my previous Daytuner map, although I had added an airbox. The PDQ map drove noticeably better.
Just booked in with PDQ, nick seems a very helpful guy. However i'd totally forgotten i needed a Power commander for the remap too - so just
ordered that
who said BEC's were cheap!?
PDQ are good, they've an uphill dyno too(so handy for pub bragging!).
