argh, having hoped to start the busa up this weekend and it not working
I realised I totally forgot to put the clutch pressure switch in place
I need a T-Piece to go between my clutch lines and then a sensor to go into it
but i dont know what sensor to buy, they seem to come in different pressure ratings, and I have no idea what sort of pressure I would be exerting on
the clutch
any ideas?
Why don't you fit a microswitch on your clutch pedal?
Or fit a bypass relay
clutch switch bypass relay
When the starter button is pushed, the relay activates and mimics the clutch switch being made.

Mike,
If I remember correctly, you are using a Gen 2 engine. You may have problems using a hydraulic clutch switch and I would strongly recommend either
using a micro switch on the base of the clutch pedal or a Double Pole Single Throw start button. This will bring the clutch switch connections
together at the same time as the starter but independantly.

This is the link to the switch if you don't want to have a clutch switch.
Mike,
Cosmick and SJL were supremely helpful on this topic. Link http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=167254
I used the large momentary push button as recommened by Cosmick. Works a treat.
Bob.
Brilliant thanks guys
you have saved me an early finish and a trip to the hydralics place to get a new hose made up with a T-Piece
even better, I havent ordered a start button yet
Thanks again
