Hi all,
I have buy a Fisher Fury lightweight chassis, the build start in 2001 and never finished.
Well, this is a very bad build and need to do a lot of work.
This Fury have a Phoenix bodywork and the engine is a 919 fireblade.
I have pick up the car this tuesday and start job.
My first issue is with the exhaust manifold. It is away from the chassis and the silencer hit the low part of bodywork.
I can't cut the top of manifold because it is so curved.
What you think about this issue ? I need about one inch more near from chassis to have a good clearance to body.

If it's a repackable silencer thats accessed for the rear of the silencer, have you tried removing the outlet end and then rotating the body to
see if that gives you any more clearance? If not I'd just cut and re-weld the inlet into the silencer such that it doesnt foul the bodywork.
Good luck the project, I still miss my Fury Fireblade
this is the distance that is too long for about one inch.

Mine fits in the side pod but only just. Heres some pictures if you want any more info just ask

After investigation, it seem it's the engine not in place, i must reduce the rear bracket.
i'll do the job this week.
First track day with car, some issues like:
lot of diff oil leak, bad seat, engine run too poor, center proshaft rubber bearing died.
But I'm happy
