Overflow hose suggests its just dumped! 
Dump to a catch tank if you want.

Ok now i know that pipe is just a overflow... doh
how have people plumped in the header tank, to fill the system only thing i can think of is T into the small pipe from the water pump? but it's a
very small bore
anyone with this engine done that
