Dangle_kt - 13/9/10 at 05:56 PM

I don't think I have ever posted up any photos of my car, and I realised its because I dont have any.

So I drove to a nice local spot on sunday, and to the very obvious "Engine Lane" for a couple of snaps.

Agagag hammer on wheel weights! Get those swapped out for some stick on ones before your wheels go all manky around the weight...

Nice tidy looking car. BUT I reckon you've got problems waiting to happen,
there doesn't appear to be any cold air feed to the air box, so the engine is going to be expected to run on the progressively hotter air generated under the bonnet.
No doubt someone will be along to shoot me down

Thanks for the observation, performance would suggest that this isn't a problem in reality, the fireblade motor takes up minimal space in the engine bay and the underside of the engine bay is open to air.

Also the airbox is reversed so the inlets are low down and not blocked by any of the engine.

Also there will be plenty if air getting round the rad at the front.

If it becomes a problem I'll fit a duct, but I'm not convinced they are not more for show than anything.
