Hello People.
I'm starting to get to grips with the BIC I am finishing off and just got a few more jobs to do.
Regarding the engine, do you know if the bolt holes marked on the attached picture should simply be earthed or whatever.
Also the outlet pipe marked with an X on the picture, is this water or a breather?
I didn't take it all off the bike, otherwise I would have marked it all up.
Your help would really be appreciated.

No need to earth at those holes on the coils.
The t'other hole you've arrowed is the crankcase breather - vent to air via a little filter, catch tank, coke can etc etc
I may have an original breather filter if you fancy one - Ive also got tonnes of CBR1000 bits in boxes so if you need oily bits (no sparky bits left)
give me a shout.

Hi Geoff.
Thanks for the reply, I'll get on with that job now.
Would love the right breather if you can find it.
See you're building a Turbo version? Is that a project of your own making?
BTW there's some chrome pipes where the oil cooler went. Do you know where the connection is on the engine? I can't find it for love nor
money.
Oil cooler connections are either side of the oil filter.
SHould both be oval take offs with an M6 tapped hole either side and machined to accept a metric o-ring in the centre.
You can actually buy these if you are making your own oil pipes.
Will have a look in my buckt-o-bits and see if that filer is in there...
eta: turbo was a drunken idea I suspect, glad I did it though - I certainly learned a lot!
Home brew turbo kit made by me with help along the way from Doug (garage19) and a fella called Giles at Turbo Technics.
Runs 7psi of boost and makes all the right whooshy noises. No idea of power but its more than the clutch/tyres can put on the road!
