Hi
Has anyone got a ZX-9R Speedo working using the standard clocks that is relatively acurate if so how can i do it .
Im sure that MK9R is using standard clocks, have a look on him website.
Not actually got them working yet, but this is how i intend doing it (i'm actually half way through making the mounting bracket at the moment). I
am using the sensor from the original bike, that is mounted in the casting which covers the sprocket. The casting is obviously not being used, so i am
mounting the sensor from a bracket which bolts onto the engine mount, the sensor will pick up 3 lugs which have been equally spaced around the
sprocket/prop adaptor.
Here is a picture/sketch (sorry about the quality), i will try and get a better picture tonight when i have finished the bracket.

Meant to say that i am using 3 lugs rather than 4 (on the bike) to reduce the error. I did a calculation on what the error would be and posted it on a previous thread. I'll see if i can find it.
Here it is:-
