£160 for 3 hrs of his time
great guy is paul he ran me threw all the software how it works how he mapps every little detail then kept asking if i understood what he was doing and explaining realy interesting

he also said in a month or to when he has sorted a few things out he wants to do some dyno days where the winner (most power) gets his power run free

nice results, it is very satisfying when you get a good day at the dyno. Mines booked in for the 21st, fingers crossed i will be as happy as the last time.

I thought bikes had more torque than that though (and i have a 1000cc bike) I think i would struggle to go over to something with a lots of torque now i'm used to it.

tootall - 9/5/09 at 09:28 PM

yer low ish on torque but if u look same year r1s are less than gsxrs only the new stuf with the 8 injectors and big bang engines that have torque too
car is 440 kg so its plenty enough for my first 7 kit

eccsmk - 9/5/09 at 09:33 PM

just watched the vids
i dont know if i'd like to be stood next to my car while it was being run on a dyno

by the way very nice looking car

well strapped down the only reason why u would stay away was the noise even with ear defenders on

Antnicuk - 9/5/09 at 10:25 PM

it is a nice looking car, best colour combo

i'm not saying your torque is low, I just though bikes in general had more torque than that, i had my bike dynoed a few weeks ago and I havent even looked at the torque.
but i suppose to a 220 kg bike with rider it feels more than enough, mine still scares the sh1t out of me!

tootall - 9/5/09 at 10:41 PM

yer well all the 1000s or the same age seem to have very similar torque and horse power each year yamy bring a fast bike out suzuki ,kawasaki or honda bring a faster one out nextyear bit of keeping up with the joneses

befor we started mapping he showed me a few runs with the same engine but in bikes and he showed me one with a knN filter and exhaust at 151bhp and said that was a good one so he was realy happy with mine

yer good colour choice your self too !! lol

easisatman - 9/5/09 at 10:45 PM

yeh and perhaps a piston parting company with the rest of thee engine!!!
